Top 3 Brow Products I Use

Hi everyone! So moving right along and sticking with the brows for another post, I thought I would mention my top 3 brow products that I currently use. Depending on the day or how much time I have, each of these brow products I absolutely love. Lets jump right in!

Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil

This pencil is so easy to use and I love how it's double-ended. I use this one when I am in a hurry and I just need to do my brows fast. Sometimes I will take it with me and then I have it for whenever I need a quick fix for my brows as well.

Benefit Brow Zings

This is my all time favorite Brow kit that I will buy over and over. It has everything you need to shape your brows. It comes with pigmented wax for shaping, powder for setting, tweezers, hard angle brush, blending brush, and mirror. I think this is definitely worth the money and a great kit to perfect those brows.

MAC Eye Shadow In Cork

I actually got the idea to use this certain eye shadow a while ago from the lovely Jacequeline. Her brows are amazing and I rushed out to buy it and try and I love it. Just use any small angle brush to apply and its simple. Easy to use and a little less expensive.

Thats it! Hope you all enjoyed! Let me know in the comments what you use!

Threading, Waxing, Tweezing, OUCH!

Hey everyone! So I wanted to do a post strictly about the brows. A lot of times we do so many posts about eye shadow, mascara, liners, etc. that the brows are forgotten.

Everyone has their own way of getting their eyebrows done.

I personally always get my eyebrows threaded. Have you ever tried it? I personally love it better than waxing. The wax used to make my eyebrows so irritated and red, it took about 2 hours to fade away and be normal. When I get them Threaded, they still get red (only because I have really sensitive skin) but goes away within 15 mintues. I also notice when I get them threaded, the re-growth is slower which is always good.

But everyone's experience will be different. So I want to know, what do you do to your eyebrows? Do you ever thread them? Wax them? Just tweeze them yourself? Let me know!! I cant wait to read your answers!

Essence Of Beauty Review

Hey girls! Happy Monday! Hopefully your monday is going good so far. So I finally took the plunge and bought some Essence of Beauty Brushes from CVS. I have been wanting to try these out for myself and see how they are. So here are the ones that I bought:

Kabuki Brush and Deluxe Duo Set

Deluxe Duo Set came with 3 brushes that are double ended, so really ended up with 6 brushes for $14.99! here are some things I noticed:
- Soft
- Easy to Use
- No Fall Out Of Bristles

I love the size of each brush too. The powder one is a little small for me, but I bought the Kabuki so doesn't matter. I can use it for anything else.

I have been wanting a Kabuki Brush for a while now. I wanted the MAC one, but didn't want to pay the price. This Kabuki is $9.99 at CVS or any drugstore that carries this brand. It is so soft it's amazing. And no harsh smell of any kind, they just smell like brushes. I always need  to check the smell to make sure its not offending. Weird I know! =D

So those are the brushes I bought! OH! One big thing! CVS is having a sale on them! Not sure for how long, I'm thinking until the end of this week? But you buy one and get the second Half off! I bought the duo set, and ended up getting the Kabuki for only $4.99 instead of $9.99! Great deal so make sure you check it out!

Holiday Collections 2009

Hey wonderful girls! So, I know everyone is going to be blogging about MAC's Holiday Collection. Which is great, don't get me wrong. I am probably going to get one or two sets, but not go crazy and buy every single set. But what about other holiday collections? I am more excited to see what my other favorite cosmetic companies are coming out with. So here are a few that I cannot wait to get my hands on.

Too Faced is the one that I am beyond excited about! I am loving the way the French and Fabulous Palette looks. Im hoping to get everything from this Holiday Collection.

Smashbox is going to have some really great sets. I don't own a lot of Samshbox, but that will all change once I buy a set =D

I do own a lot of Benefit, and I'm excited because their Holiday sets come with so much in them! Very fun! And they always get me with their packaging. I am a sucker when it comes to fancy packaging.

Which Holiday Collections are you anticipating? Let me know!

Nailene Review

Hey everyone! It raining here in California! If you follow me on twitter you know I love the rain! So, what better thing to do but do my nails. Being on a budget, I can't afford getting a manicure like I used to all the time. Plus being a mom, no time either.

I tried Nailene products for the first time this week. I have to honestly say that their products are so simple to use, and not messy at all. The first thing that caught my attention, was the packaging. I love how everything is easy! Other nail packages I have used, I barely open it and everything goes everywhere. not fun. But Nailene's packaging is so easy to take everything in and out.

Here are my nails plain and blah:

And here are my nails using Nailene:

What I liked were the French Polish Guides. They work really well and make the white nail polish straight everytime! Another great thing, is that the polishes dry so fast!! I was amazed! I did my whole manicure within 15 minutes and they were completely dry!

No negatives here. I was really impressed. I will be doing more with Nailene, so you can see different products that are all great =)

TAG: Makeup and Blogging

I was tagged by Vanessa to do this, so first off thank you Vanessa! =D

Here is the question:
WHO, WHAT and/or WHEN did you get started with makeup & blogging?

Okay first makeup:
I remember being in middle school and me and my BFF went and snuck to the store (Rite-Aid) to buy a Covergirl Compact. It was completely the wrong color! haha it was way too light for me and I though I was the coolest pulling it out in class. I didn't want to tell my mom, which now seems weird but I thought I would get in trouble.
My first MAC purchase was in 8th grade when I went with my mom and bought one eyeshadow. Ironically I think it was aquadisiac! Thats funny now looking back.

Blogging:
Well I have always been interested in writing. Even when I was in school, all I would do was write. I had so many journals and I would write all my friends letters! I barely started blogging in May of this year. I think I got into it from seeing other people on twitter having blogs and I thought it was really interesting. I'm going to give credit to Jacqueline because I know I saw her blog and was amazed, so thank you Jacqueline! =D

Well there is my story! and everyone should do this too! If you do let Vanessa know because she's doing a giveaway if you post! click here

Boots: Splurge Vs. Affordable

Now that Fall is here, I am mostly excited about digging through my closet and taking out my boots! Living in California, as soon as it gets cold here, the boot are automatically on my feet. Being a mom of a one year old, has made me start hunting for bargains rather than splurging on whatever I see. So, I thought I would do a little comparison with boots, mainy saying that you can find affordable boots anywhere!

First: Splurge
Splurge
affordable

Items in this set:

I think the affordable boots look way better than the splurge. You can click the Affordable picture to see the prices of all the rest of the boots.

I will do a post soon about all the boots I have, not many but still fun! =)

MAC Goodies

I went shopping yesterday and I had to go to MAC and get a few things from the Black Collection.
I bought Gilt By Association Eye Shadow and Volcanic Ash Exfoliator.

First my pictures and I what I think about Gilt:

I was going to buy Young Punk or any of the other ones they have, but Gilt seemed like the more reasonable choice. Meaning I would wear this one way more than the others. I still want to get the rest though just to have =) I did a super fast look with it here last night. Didn't turn out as great because I didn't have much time.
I have a regular brown from the 88 palette for the entire lid, and Gilt on the outer corners of the lids. Hopefully you like it :)

Second, The Exfoliator and what I think:

   Pros:
 - Smell is amazing! Not Harsh or strong.
- Not too thick and not too liquidy. Just right.
- Skin feels super soft and silky.
- For $20, To me it's worth it!

Cons:
NONE! =D

So those are my thoughts. I want to know what you all think! Have you bought these? If you plan to, what are you going to get?
Let me know in the comments below! Any questions, Comment and I will get back to you below!
Thanks Beauties!
